It was a warm summer’s afternoon, while the sky slowly started turning red, Vito Masi walked faster towards home.
He was satisfied. He couldn’t wait to tell his family that the dream that had been cherished for a long time was becoming reality.
Everything had been decided: they would have sold the grocer’s and milk shop that they had opened two years earlier in order to create a small family-run dairy. For a moment he thought about his father, a cattle expert and breeder, to all that he had taught him, to how he could benefit from that experience.
This is how, in an afternoon of thirty five years ago the Masi Dairy (Caseificio Masi) was born.
